Karmental and I share a talent for being able to make a sexual reference out of just about anything and so I was about to accuse her of being a female counterpart in this yin-yang sort of way by calling her my sexual surrogate when I realized I should perhaps first check to see if the term has a broader meaning. A quick Google search turned up the following entry on Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_surrogate. In brief the definition states:
A sex surrogate is a member of a sex therapy team who engages in intimate physical or sexual relations with a patient in order to achieve a therapeutic goal.
[and]
Sex surrogates use a combination of three techniques — talking, listening and demonstration — to help resolve a patient's sexual problems.
This obviously touches on real problems for some people and while trying to respect their situation I’m stunned. Oh my hell! You’ve got to be friggin’ joking. Is this like medical marijuana? A little bit for health reasons it ok? A doctor’s note can get you so much more than an excuse from the office.
