Friday Sam sat down at the kitchen table having gotten up on his own, a day off school, at exactly the time he's supposed to get up on school days. Bird immediately set in upon him asking why he can't get up on school days at this time when we ask him too. He just shrugged it off and pulled the iPad to him.
Then he starts playing Angry Birds as he noisily hums and sings songs. He's very musical that boy. But as I'm trying to work at the kitchen table it started to get a little annoying and I cast one of those WTF! looks at Bird.
Bird speaking to Sam says, "Who put a quarter in you?"
Sam just blurted out, "Shutup!" And with ever so brief a pause and a timid face adds, "Please?"
Bird and I both just cracked up.
