We spent Easter at my sister's house. It was a nice, small gathering for which we brought a few chairs and an appetizer. It's pleasant to share responsibility for family get-togethers these days. It made for a very quiet and relaxing day for us.
My sister has two cats - one a little antisocial and one a lotta antisocial. The latter disappears under her bed covers the moment another person steps foot in her house and stays there until they leave. After lunch Justin found her in the bedroom and was immersed in stroking the cat through the covers and enjoying the purring vibrations. He must've felt some sort of antisocial connection drawing him in. That is until my sister walked in and asked him what he was doing? "Petting the cat," he said. She replied, "No you're not, that's my body pillow." Apparently the cat was still a few feet away from him.
Still chuckling she came to tell Bird and I this story. We, being the cruel and unusual parents that we are, immediately hatched a plan for the following day, April Fool's Day. When Justin came home from school this is what we had waiting for him.
