Today is Sam's 8th birthday! He was very excited this morning to find his cool Lego Star Wars Armed Assault Tank set that he's been wanting. So after a pleasant (and short) morning I dropped both boys off at school.
When Mom picked them up in the afternoon Sam climbed into the truck and said, "Now that I'm 8 I think my voice is deeper. [pause] About 5%." They were retelling me this story over dinner at Broadway Pizza along with Grandma. She asked Sam how old he would be before his voice would be really deep? After a moment of thought he replied, "58."
